For South African locals:
We have a dedicated page on BackaBuddy to help our participants raise money for The Little Optimist Trust and a charity of their choice. All funds raised by you on your Champion page will be shared 50/50 with your nominated charity.
Become a champion and start your own campaign to raise money. To get started, first complete the entry and indemnity form here.
Once you have entered, we can assist you with setting up a personal campaign for one or both of the charities.
For our international supporters:
The aim of The Great Optimist Challenge is to raise money for The Little Optimist Trust and multiple charities close to your hearts. Unfortunately, it is not possible to jointly fundraise for a South African and an international charity on the same campaign platform due to our country’s stringent exchange controls.
Our international participants are free to raise money for The Little Optimist on BackaBuddy or GivenGain, AND for a charity of your choice too. Enter here by completing the entry and indemnity form.
Once you have entered, we can assist you with setting up a personal campaign for one or both of the charities.
